Annabella Rodriguez
Headmaster

Annabella was born in Guatemala City and has been teaching in different schools in Mexico and Guatemala since 1997. Her extensive experience in the classroom allows her to understand the individual needs of students and teachers as she performs her duties as headmaster.

Anne Weirauch
Manager

Anne has studied business administration and foreign languages. She came from Germany to the charming island of Flores in the summer of 2006 and never left. Together with Dieter she runs Dos Mundos and is responsible for bookings and student activities.

Dieter Richter
Public relations

Dieter is a German architect with specialization in monument conservation. Since 1995, he has been involved in several archaeological projects in Guatemala such as the Triángulo Cultural (Cultural Triangle). In 1997, he opened his first Spanish school in Playa del Carmen (Mexico). He currently co-runs Dos Mundos in Flores.

Our teachers

Our teachers are all native speakers from the area who have received and successfully passed an examination that tested their abilities to teach Spanish to foreigners. Most of them have had several years of experience teaching. They are very enthusiastic about helping students understand Guatemalan culture and increasing their knowledge of the Spanish language.

One of our teachers is Yesenia Pacheco. She has been teaching Guatemalan children for 9 years. She loves teaching, knows lots of games and songs, and uses a hands-on approach when teaching Spanish at our school. Ysenia lives in San Miguel, a neighboring town of Flores, and enjoys giving students insights into her culture.
