Dos Mundos - Study Spanish in Flores, Guatemala

Casa Guatemala is an orphanage in Rio Dulce, Izabal that cares for the nurturing, health and education of over 250 children. These children come from a variety of backgrounds; some have been abandoned, some have been abused. Others come from families too poor to even provide the basics of a child's needs.

What you should know

At times you will find life hard - some days things will go against you, the children might be uncooperative, you might struggle with the language. But if you have anything in common with 90% of the volunteers that come here, your life will be touched very deeply and you will have an amazing experience that you will never forget.
